Programming Math is about combining the creativity of people and the computational power of programming to solve math problems. We explore a wide range of math topics with the help of JavaScript, the lingua franca of the web.

James Taylor is a math PhD with a quantum mechanics specialty who is fascinated with programming. He teaches mathematics at Johns Hopkins University.

Thomas Park is graduate student of human-computer interaction, researching how people learn basic web development and ways of supporting them. He is motivated by the idea that regular people can use programming to improve their lives.

This site benefits from the amazing work of other projects. MathJax is used to display math and SyntaxHighlighter to display code. jsFiddle is used as an environment for experimenting with JavaScript.
